Group Classes

 

ALL GROUP CLASSES ARE POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS

 

We offer small group classes of maximum 5 dogs per class and the duration is around 60 min depending on the class.            You’ll be require to come to class one time a week to participate in class with your dog and other students, and be responsible for doing your homework between scheduled classes. There are three main reasons why someone would choose group classes over private lessons. 1) Price  2) Their dog has excellent obedience at home but needs more practice around distractions 3) They have a new puppy and understand how critical it is to take a puppy socialization class. 

 

• Puppy Classes 

Prerequisite: Puppies must have all 3 vaccinations  

 

Puppy Preschool for puppies 3-5 months old.  In puppy preschool, you’ll learn how to address housebreaking, nipping, chewing, and jumping problems, all while commiserating with other puppy owners. Includes an introduction to basic puppy obedience, as well as socialization and group play time for the little ones.

Course length: 6 weeks. Cost €140

 

 

• Adult Dog Classes 

Prerequisite: Dogs must have up to date vaccinations and be people-friendly and dog-friendly and not on heat

 

Beginner Training for dogs from 6 months and older. This group class is designed to help you and your dog learn and practice basic obedience training like sit, come, down, loose leash walking and go to bed. We’ll focus special attention on good manners like not jumping up. You will learn all the basics for getting – and keeping – your dog’s attention, even in distracting environments. We incorporate games and challenges to help make obedience less of a chore and way more fun.

Course length: 6 weeks. Cost €140

 

Intermediate Training for dogs from 6 months and older. If your dog already knows basic cues, our Intermediate Training course can help your pet achieve the same results in situations involving more distance, duration and distractions – this course also covers new behaviors, such as, “heel,” “wait” and “recall”.

Prerequisite: puppy training, beginner education or comparable skill level.

Course length: 6 weeks. Cost €160

 

Advance Training for dogs from 8 months and older.  Advanced obedience skills including extra control around distractions and beginning off-leash work. This course also enforces cues learned in earlier phases. In addition you practice real life scenarios such as passing dogs on a side walk and sitting calmly at a cafe.

Prerequisite: Intermediate training education or comparable skill level.

Course length: 6 weeks. Cost €180

 

Set for Vet and groomer for dogs of all ages. This class will help prepare your puppy or dog for vet and or grooming visits, reducing their anxiety or excitement, and make your trips to the vet or groomer a positive one!  You will train your dog to remain calm in the lobby while waiting. Take the ‘scary’ out of routine procedures like getting on the scale, holding still for exams, vaccines, blood draws and much more. Training our dogs to willingly participate in veterinary and grooming procedures is not unrealistic at all!  The course includes 1 field trip to a veterinarian’s office where we will practice their         new skills and provide them with the BEST veterinary experience they have ever had and 1 grooming session (bathing,       hair clipping if needed, nail clipping)
